3D printing and mechanical engineering have enabled our company to create a Laboratory cube that allows for safe working with dangerous materials. The development was completed in 2022.
Mechanical engineering and 3D printing play a crucial role in developing different devices, including this one.
The device was specifically designed to work with harmful and dangerous substances while ensuring the safety of human life and health.
The operation of the device is simple: a pair of gloves is hermetically attached to the existing holes, and the transparent case allows for convenient operation inside the container.
The Mechanical engineering inludes:
- Transparent acrylic panels with a thickness of 6.35mm (0.25 inches)
- Doors are also made of acrylic
- corner connectors made of plastic
- 4 plastic legs
- sealing rubber bands on all connections
- ½ inch ball valve
- hinges and latches
The device was designed by our mechanical engineer in the SolidWorks program.
The body parts and rubber gaskets were made using laser cutting, and all connectors and legs were printed on a 3D printer.
Thanks to 3D printing, mechanical engineering, and skills such as 3D modeling, product development, and mechanical design, our company has successfully created a highly important device that will be an essential tool for working with dangerous materials.
